Shipping & Receiving/Accounts Specialist (#2010-20) - this position provides technical assistance to make certain that invoices are paid timely against open purchase orders. Matches invoices with the purchase order then forwards to accounts payable in accordance with the Procurement procedures. Prepares records of receipt of incoming material, supplies, and equipment, and posts to open orders of suppliers. Responsible for accuracy of shipping documents and verifying receiving receipts with open orders. General knowledge of shipping and receiving and accounts payable. General knowledge of warehouse procedures and physical inventory principles. Competency in office skills, including proficiency with office equipment, such as a computer, calculator, copier and facsimile machine. Ability to stand for period of time, ability to lift boxes in excess of 20 lbs. Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. High School Diploma or equivalent. Two year experience in shipping receiving and accounts payable and/or procurement or any equivalent of education and experience. Compliance Officer (#2010-44) Ensures compliance with Minimum Internal Controls of the Nation Indian Gaming Commission and Tribal Internal Controls. Provides training to staff on Internal Controls. Observes soft count and hard count. Minimum bankroll verification. Monitors cash counts and casino cage reconciliation. Monitors gaming machine installs, modifications and removals. Prepares reports and reviews findings with the Gaming Commission and casino management. Reviews Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. Completes other duties and special projects as required. Ability to obtain a gaming license from the Sac and Fox Gaming Commission. College degree preferred. Compliance/Regulatory experience and knowledge of casino operations preferred. Managing Editor (#2010-45) This position serves in a staff capacity to establish and manage the production and printing of the Sac and Fox News. The purpose of the position is to provide oral and written communications to the press, public, and tribal membership. Develops deadlines, length of copy, and recommends thrust of material for the newsletter. Reviews completed articles, edits or rewrites to suit purposes of newsletter. Writes headlines and subheads. Coordinates with appropriate individuals to review proposed newsletter test. Adjusts text as necessary to meet newsletter needs and discuss focus of material for those audiences. Confers with appropriate staff on graphics, photography, and print completion on final text. Serves as the tribal photographer for special events which includes overseeing film processing, etc. Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Advertising, communications, or related field. Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in journalism, publications, or public information to gain experience related to newspaper publication may be considered in lieu of above. Certification Assistant (#2010-46) This position will perform as the Certification Assistant for the Food Distribution Program. Greets participants/potential participants and answers the telephone to ascertain the nature of the person’s business need. Routes calls, answer questions regarding program requirements, schedules appointments and does certification procedures when needed. Responsible for monthly calendar, schedule book(s) and distribution lists. Performs cleaning duties during the last two hours of each work day or when otherwise required. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of Office/Store Area. Oversees ordering and maintaining cleaning supplies for the facility. High School diploma or GED. Completion of a secretarial training program or 2-3 years of experience in clerical work. Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Library Director (#2010-47) Plans and administers program of library services. Submits recommendations on library policies and services to governing body, such as board of directors of the Sac and Fox National Public Library, and implements policy decisions. Analyzes and coordinates departmental budget estimates and controls expenditures to administer approved budget. Reviews and evaluates orders for books, audio-visual materials, and collections and materials for the archives division. Examines trade publications and materials, interviews publisher’s representatives, consults with others (library patrons and experts) to select materials. Plans and conducts staff meetings and participates in community and professional meetings to discuss and act on library problems. Provides library public relations services to Indian and non-Indian community. May examine and select material to be discarded, repaired or replaced. Helps plan and design exhibits for the library and community education and information. Plans, promotes and implements children’s programs, including summer story hours and reading programs. Helps research genealogy requests as time permits and resources available. Supervises historical researcher as to oral history interview collection, archives management, and acquisition of historical materials. Knowledge of basic library system and policies. Thorough skill in supervising employees. Through skill in dealing with people in evaluating situations and determining an appropriate course of action; and in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing. Administers federal, state, and foundation programs. Master of Library Science and/or two years experience as administrator of public library. Exercise Specialist (#2010-48) Functions as a team member and fills the role of exercise specialist for the Special Diabetes Grant. The exercise specialist works with the Physical Therapist develop an individualized exercise program for clients for the Black Hawk Health Center. This incumbent has specialty in exercise programs, maintenance for continuation of rehabilitation, muscle skeletal and cardiovascular systems of the human body. Must possess a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance, wellness, kinesiology or other related field. Incumbent must have a working knowledge of diabetes and diabetic complications. Administrative Assistant (#2010-36) Provide administrative support for the Indian Child Welfare Coordinator and maintain a confidential quality assurance duty of a varied nature. Establishes and maintains all client files, and other departmental files so as to ensure confidentiality of information. Assist in preparing existing grant and contract reports, budget modifications, and departmental correspondence. Provides administrative support to the ICW staff including planning, research, communications, coordination of programs or services, personnel, record keeping, obligation control and inventory management. Receives all visitors, telephone calls and reads all incoming mail and independently handles or attaches appropriate file/information for supervisor. Maintains all incoming and outgoing mail by date received and posts to establish correspondence log. Performs other job duties as assigned. Must possess knowledge of word processing programs, document development, forms, maintain schedule for staff. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain effective interoffice communication. Must have the ability to type 55 wpm to use a 10-key by touch. Must possess filing skills and the ability to do obligation register reconciliation’s. High school diploma or GED with at least four (4) years of clerical/secretarial experience or 60 hours of college crediting in a major field of study. General experience in administrative, technical or other responsible work which provided opportunity to gain skill in dealing with the public. Indian Child Welfare Specialist (#2010-37) The Indian Child Welfare Specialist position is the basic level where employees are assigned responsibilities involving beginning level casework activities to build their skills in providing social services to individuals. Assists in providing professional, educational and family services to the members of the Sac and Fox Nation relative to the protection, health and welfare of the Indian children and their families. Must have knowledge of casework principles and methods. Knowledge of rules, regulations, legislation, policies, procedures and State laws that govern the Indian Child Welfare program as they pertain to child welfare is helpful. Experience in working within the tribal governments structures and of the tribal customs and the structure of the Indian families is preferred. Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or counseling. An equivalent combination of work experience and /or education may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis to a maximum of four years. A valid driver’s license is required. Must successfully pass a Fingerprinting check as required under the Adam Walsh Act. Applicant must successfully pass an OSBI/National background check and Drug Screen. Transportation Driver (#2010-38) The purpose of this position is to provide emergency and non-emergency transportation to minors and clients in accordance with the Sac and Fox Nation Indian Child Welfare Department. Knowledge of the areas, both rural and non-rural, surrounding the designated service area. Ability to follow directions/instructions to locate a client’s residence. Knowledge of record keeping practices. Knowledge of Microsoft word. Demonstrate ability to install and use a car seat correctly. Physically capable of assisting minors and clients. Ability to get client(s) to their schedule appointments on time. Possess and exhibit a pleasant and caring attitude. Ability to work a variable schedule to meet the client’s and program’s needs. High school graduate, G.E.D., or equivalent preferred. A current Oklahoma Driver’s License is required and a current DMV printout of safe driving records must be provided. Must be insurable. CHS Medical Technician (#2010-42) Assist with integrating and coordination Contract Health Services with direct patient care services. Responsible for ensuring the implementation of established Contract Health Services policies and procedures. Will educate patients and providers on the CHS policies and procedures relating to medical referrals, emergency room services, etc.. Monitors and determines patient eligibility for the CHS Program and for other available health care resource programs. Ensures that a CHS Notification Form is completed for all patients who report or request health care services. Assists patients and providers with any questions pertaining to medical bills, referrals, etc. Assists the CHS Medical Tech to ensure supporting documentation accompanies all medical referrals. Assists the CHS Medical Tech II to ensure supporting documentation accompanies all medical claims. Will call outside providers to request reports, claims and EOB’s. Will assist patients to get their Emergency Room Report/Hospital Records. Answering phone calls, filing, and copying. Performs other duties as assigned. Patient Advocate: assist patients through the Contract Health process. High School graduation or equivalent; at least one (1) year of progressively responsible clerical, office or other work which indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position and completion of course work in Medical Terminology. Resident Advisor (#2010-32) This position is responsible for the safety and security of the juvenile residents. Applicants must possess valid Oklahoma drivers license; be able to work flexible hours; at least 22 years of age; high school diploma or GED; up to two (2) years of college majoring in a behavioral sciences related field. One (1) year experience working with juveniles in a residential or detention setting or two (2) years providing juveniles with supervision in a formal setting preferred. Must be willing to undergo OSBI criminal background check, drug testing, TB testing, and physical examination. Commensurate with experience, plus great benefits.
