Indian Child Welfare
Services specifically targeting Sac & Fox families are offered
through the Nation's office of Indian Child Welfare. The Indian Child
Welfare Program works closely with other individual and family-oriented
programs such as the Social Services Department and Black Hawk
Behavioral Health Management in order to reunite and rebuild broken
families and strengthen existing homes. Other service options include:
• Individual Counseling
• Marriage and Family Counseling
• Group Therapy
• Career Counseling
• Indian Foster Home Care
• Adoption Referral
• Information/Referrals/Follow-ups
• Establish and provide support to Indian Youth Groups
• Family liaison for BIA, IHS, State and County Social Service offices and State and Tribal Courts
• Seminars/Workshops: Parent-child Relationship. Child Abuse and
Neglect, Marriage Enrichment, Consumer Counseling and Wellness
