Finance
The Finance Department consists of the following ten positions: Chief
Financial Officer, Assistant Controller, two Accounts Payable/Cashier
positions, Payroll/Benefits Coordinator, Payroll/Benefits Technician,
and four Accounting Technicians.
The Finance Department processes all payments and collects all receipts
for all the public programs operated by the Sac and Fox Nation. These
programs are funded through tribal funds, federal funds, and state
funds. As of October 31, 2004, the list of programs is as follows:

There are approximately 185 employees at the Sac and Fox Nation.
Payroll is bi-weekly. The average bi-weekly payroll including taxes is
over $180,000. The Accounts Payable Clerks process payments to
individuals and vendors weekly including payments to service providers
for the Black Hawk Health Center. The average check run is over one
hundred checks. Checks are available to be picked up on Fridays at
11:00 a.m. or they will be placed in the mail unless the Finance
Department is instructed otherwise.
